Ghorepani Poon hill Trekking

This area, north of Pokhara, called "Ghorepani" offers some of the most dramatic close-up views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. The abrupt variation in altitude found here is astonishing. From the Pokhara airstrip (850m) the summit of Machhapuchare (6997m) is less than 30 km. This area is home to the Magars and Gurungs (backbone of the famous Gorkha regiments). The trek passes through rhododendron and mixed forest alive with ferns and birds, through spectacular villages of the Gurkha soldiers with their spectacular Himalayan back drops leads to Ghorapani 2834m.

02 : Drive or flight to Pokhara (820 m). And trek to Dhampus (1,665 m).
03 : Trek to Ghandrung (1,940 m).
04 : Trek to Ghorepani (2750 m).
05 : Trek to Tirkhedhunga (1540 m)
06 : Trek to Pokhara. transfer to hotel. O/N hotel.
07 : Drive or flight back to Kathmandu. O/N transfer to the hotel
08: Depature Home land
